Kim Kardashian thinks it’s an “honor” to be able to spend time with prison inmates.
The 42-year-old reality star paid a visit to the California State Prison in Los Angeles County on Monday and followed with a lunch.
The SKIMS founder — who was recently spotted in Poland — was with her younger sister Khloe, 38.
Their visit was part of the REFORM Alliance’s Shape of the Future advisory board and Kim has made it clear that she wants to use her celebrity platform to “change the lives” of those behind bars.
After the visit, she said: ‘It is always an honor to be able to visit the men and women who live behind the walls of our prison.
“Hearing the stories of people trapped in the prison system is what drives my commitment to advocating for reform and finding ways to use my platform to help change lives and laws.”

The Kardashian star added that she’s “thrilled” to be able to bring the council — which was set up by rapper Meek Mill in 2018, along with individuals including Robbie and Jay-Z — to jail.

‘Today I was especially excited to bring REFORM’s Future Shapers Advisory Board inside the prison as well,’ she said.
“We are building the next generation of leaders and influencers who will join us in this fight.”
The designer — who has a North, 10, Saint, Seven, Chicago, Sex, and Psalm three-year-old with ex-husband Kanye West — is currently training to be a lawyer and in January of this year reportedly met with criminals in “solitary confinement” at Pelican State Prison. Bey in Crescent, California where she reportedly had discussions with them about their mental health.
At the time, a source told TMZ, “Kim did a day at Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent, California earlier this week.
Her focus was on meeting the inmates in solitary confinement, and talking to them in depth about the toll that imprisonment can take on their mental stability.

Among the guests in attendance were Lil’ Baby; REFORM Alliance Senior Advocacy Officer Jessica Jackson, Co-Chair Michael Rubin, and Senior Director for Policy and Legal Erin Haney; Selected board members are Hannah Jackson, Rondo Bonilla, Sophia Kiani, Xander Muric, Jack Wright, Dixie D’Amelio, Heidi D’Amelio, Mark D’Amelio and Aidan Cone Murphy.
California Assemblyman Matt Haney (D-San Francisco) also joined the group.
The group interviewed men imprisoned at the facility to learn about their stories, hear about the challenges that led them to the criminal justice system, and identify ways the system can better support safety and rehabilitation.
They also toured rehabilitation programs at the facility such as the PAWS For Life program.
The inaugural Future Shapers Advisory Council group will unite some of the nation’s leading and influential Gen-Z leaders to learn about the criminal justice system, create content that helps inform their audience, and work with The Fix to increase awareness and action.

REFORM’s Shape of the Future Advisory Board was created after an informative and inspiring Gen Z dinner hosted by REFORM co-chair and CEO fanatic Michael Rubin and Kardashian in February to bring the next generation of leaders into the criminal justice reform movement.
The group gathered at Rubin’s home in Los Angeles and heard from several speakers sharing their experiences with the criminal justice system.
Kardashian shared with Gen Z’ers that the best way to learn about the system to change is to connect with the people most affected by it.
The prison visit is one of the regiment’s first engagements as members of the council. After the visit, the group debriefed the information over lunch.
