Meanwhile, Kim’s ex Kanye West’s gospel choir Sunday Service has reportedly been stripped of its charity status.

The 47-year-old Ye rapper, who faces lawsuits from former employees and was infamously fired from a series of major label deals over his anti-Semitic outbursts, has now been hit with the ruling after failing to file tax returns for the group for three years.

According to the IRS website, the gospel group’s tax-exempt status was revoked on May 15.

The reason was “for failing to file a Form 990 return or notice for three consecutive years.” The US Sun has reported.

The Sunday Service was formed by West in 2019.

DailyMail.com has contacted her representative for comment.

It was initially granted exemption from federal income tax because it was listed as a 501(c)(3) organization.

They are classified as ‘religious, educational, charitable, scientific, literary, public safety testing, national or international amateur sports competition promotion, or prevention of cruelty to children or animals’ organizations.

As of August 12, the revocation of the charity’s status was still in effect.

When Kanye launched Sunday service, the gospel choir performed with the Grammy winner every weekend.

Their first public performance was at the Coachella festival in 2019, and they collaborated with Texas-based pastor Joel Osteen, who hosted Kanye at Lakewood Church in Houston in November of that year.

Tickets to the event were free, but holders resold them online for up to $500.

Kanye has faced legal issues with some of his Sunday Service members and staff, who filed class-action lawsuits against the rapper in 2020 for alleged mistreatment.

At the time, more than 500 artists and around 300 crew members claimed the artist-turned-fashion designer had violated California labor laws by underpaying them and denying them food and bathroom breaks.

Among them was Michael Pearson, a Sunday Service actor who alleged he was paid a flat daily rate of $250 and was not allowed breaks.

He also claimed that artists either stood all day or sat on the floor and walked home when they were not provided with transportation.

It was reported in June that Kanye settled with the hundreds of Sunday Service performers and staff for $1.35 million, but they were seeking more than $10.5 million in damages.
