Kim Kardashian and her ‘klones’ wear nude tones for SKIM’s first national commercial that aired before the Oscars

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to share a Skims ad showing her and her ‘clones’ in futuristic factory settings on Monday.

The video shows the chief engineer and countless copies of her in a spaceship testing the shapewear for things like stretch and support for the brand’s first national commercial, which aired before the Oscars.

She monitors the clones via television screens while approving products such as cotton t-shirt jerseys and no show bras.

The mother-of-four even showed off her toned figure as she floated in a weightless chamber while wearing a bra and knickers from her collection.

It was a hit with fans and family as her sister Khloe Kardashian chimed in, commenting on ‘Bravo’ while Gary Wright’s Dream Weaver played.

She captioned the image: ‘Access granted: SKIMS lab. Tried Tested and engineered to perform to perfection – Skims are out of this world.

‘Set in outer space, our first-ever national TV ad features the SKIMS Chief Engineer and her “clones” who quality test each SKIMS fabric’s stretch, comfort and smoothness to create the best fit for every body.’

Each version of the reality star was dressed in nude Skims pieces and heels with a clear lab coat.

The concept made jaws drop as it was a unique and iconic roof for LA natives.

A top comment with over 3,000 likes wrote: ‘I love you because of your marketing skills.’

Referring to Kardashian’s quote, another commenter added: “Because she loves to do iconic sh*t.”

About AdweekThe ad will run on broadcast channels and online until the end of April.

More of this project is said to be unveiled in Times Square in New York City and on Los Angeles billboards as part of the campaign.

With lavish sets, real effects and cinematography, director Frank LeBon treated the Skims commercial more like a feature film.

Kim spent three days on the job acting out each scenario and posing in shapewear.

Back in 2018, the businesswoman teamed up with Swedish entrepreneur Jens Grede when they founded Skims.

The brand, which was recently valued at $4 billion, initially sold shapewear before branching out into loungewear, swimwear and most recently menswear.

Skims intends to enter brick-and-mortar stores later this year, opening its first flagship locations in New York and Los Angeles.
