Kieran Hayler has admitted he feels “intimidated” by Matt Smith after the actor asked to be “written out” of a drama they both starred in.
The dancer, 37, signed with an extras agency earlier this year and had to film a brief scene in The Death Of Bunny Munro with Matt, 41, but The Crown star was said to be “embarrassed” to be on screen with him.
Kieran, best known for his previous marriage to Katie Price, was spotted filming in Brighton at the same time as Matt for the six-part Sky Atlantic drama earlier this month; however, the pair were not seen together.
Speaking to SunKieran said: -I’m not ashamed, it hurts me more when someone says something like that when they don’t even know me.
“For him to say what he apparently said… it doesn’t give a lot of hope to young actors. I’m probably in half a second of a scene with him.

“For me, it’s like… fuck! It’s like bullying. It’s cruel.”
Kieran, who has Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, with his ex-wife, simply thinks “everyone should support each other” within the industry.
The television series tells the story of Bunny Munro (Matt), a sex addict who meets women through his job as a street vendor selling beauty products.
Kieran previously claimed to suffer from sex addiction, saying in 2018: “Sex addiction is very complicated to treat. It can strike at any time.
“It’s when I feel bad or if Kate does something that doesn’t make me happy, it’s a way to make myself feel better.”
Katie previously accused Kieran of having an affair, and then said in 2015 that he was in therapy for sex addiction.
At the time, she said: ‘He’s in therapy… it’s an ongoing process for him.
‘When someone is addicted to drugs or an alcoholic… nobody imagines that someone could have a sex addiction.
Kieran, who is best known for his former marriage to Katie Price, was spotted filming at the same time as Matt for the drama earlier this month; however, they were not seen together.

“I didn’t think there would be, but with him it’s all about adrenaline and excitement. I thought he was a young guy, but I’m glad he did it with two of my friends as it’s just sex… not a relationship.”

In a series of snaps on set, Kieran can be seen sporting a white polo shirt as he filmed scenes with a blonde actress. Meanwhile, Matt was all smiles as he was filmed driving a car around the seaside town.

Sources close to Matt are said to be “embarrassed” that he appeared alongside Kieran, who worked as a stripper before meeting former glamour model Katie, the Mail revealed.
A Sky source said: ‘When Matt realised Kieran was on the same show he was quite shocked.
‘Both men have been on set and filmed scenes, but Matt’s team decided it wasn’t possible for him to appear alongside someone like him, so they asked the production staff to edit it out.’
The source added: ‘It’s surprising to think Matt would be on the same show as Kieran, who, as far as anyone knows, hasn’t acted before.
‘It’s a high-quality production that features not only Matt but also Robert Glenister.
‘That’s why Matt’s team couldn’t just sit back and let this continue. They stepped in and called for him to be fired.
“You can’t say it would have been good for Matt’s reputation.”

A source close to Sky production said: ‘Kieran has no role in the show.
“He came through an extras agency and appeared as an extra in one scene. No one on the production knew who he was.”
Kieran married Katie, 46, in 2013 and they had a son, Jett, that same year. The following year they welcomed a daughter, Bunny.
Within months, their marriage was on the rocks when Katie accused him of having an affair and said they could only try again if he went to therapy for sex addiction.
But then she accused him of another affair and they divorced in 2021.
Bunny Munro also suffers from a weakness for the opposite sex and cannot stop seducing women, but he also has a young son that he must take sole care of after his wife commits suicide.
Filmed in the south of England, the series also stars Roadkill actress Sarah Greene.
