Kiefer Sutherland has led moving tributes to his late father Donald following the Hollywood legend’s death.
The 24-year-old star said her father Donald, 88, “loved what he did and did what he loved” when announcing his death on Thursday.
‘It is with great sadness that I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. Personally, I think that one of the most important actors in the history of cinema,” said Kiefer in instagram.
“I was never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and you can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.’

Sutherland also earned nine separate Golden Globe nominations for hits like M*A*S*H and Ordinary People, winning two.
