The American pop superstar put his hands on his chest and mouthed, “Oh my God,” during a four-minute ovation at the Accor Stadium on Saturday night.
The backlash came after her performance of Champagne Problems about an hour into her three-hour set.
It took several minutes for Taylor to calm the crowd and she appeared stunned, telling the crowd that they “won” as far as cheers were concerned.
‘You guys are on another level. You’re wild Sydney!’ she said after a long pause during which the auditorium shook with applause and cheers.
