KFC is launching a pop-up restaurant featuring a range of new items created by an Australian TikTok star.
The world’s first pop-up, called The Colonel’s Spice House, will open its doors in Spice Alley in Sydney’s CBD next Saturday and Sunday only.
Its menu has been created by TikTok culinary sensation Vincent Yeow Lim, also known as Dimsimlim, who has put a twist on the traditional fast food restaurant menu.
While some of Mr Lim’s items will be coming to franchises across Australia, others will only be available at the pop-up.
“At The Colonel’s Spice House, Hot & Spicy will be served alongside other iconic KFC menu items reimagined,” reads a statement from KFC.
A range of hot and spicy drumsticks, wings and Zingers will be available along with a range of six ‘bespoke’ sauces to complement the new items.
They include different levels of spices, such as ‘Blazen Hot’, ‘Simply the Zest’ and the hottest sauce ever offered by KFC: the ’11 Spice Sauce’.
Dessert lovers can also order a different version of the classic chocolate mousse, served with a spicy and sweet Zinger Sundae sauce.

Lim said he was excited to partner with the fast food giant and flex his creative muscles for the new menu.
“There’s nothing I love more than experimenting with bold new flavors that really add flavour, so I’m delighted to be partnering with KFC again to bring Australians the world’s first ‘Colonel’s Spice House’,” he said.
“Hot and Spicy is one of my personal menu favorites, and reinventing this iconic food for KFC fans to try at Sydney’s spice house, Spice Alley, has been an absolute standout.”

KFC Australia marketing director Tami Cunningham said the chain loves creating “unique KFC experiences for our fans, and we can’t wait to bring back our fan-favourite Hot & Spicy in a big way”.
“The “Colonel’s Spice House” will offer a truly memorable dining experience, with an exciting menu designed around hot and spicy chicken that will deliver an unforgettable KFC taste experience,” he said.
Those who want to try the limited-time menu will have to get pair tickets for $30 at Moshtix.
Proceeds will go to the KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners: Black Dog Institute and ReachOut Australia.
Fans who miss out on the exclusive dining experience will still be able to score some of the Hot and Spicy items at participating stores nationwide from October 1-28.
