KFC Australia is bringing back the Double, but this time it comes with a sweet breakfast-style twist.
The new double waffle will launch across Australia on June 11 and, like its predecessors, is expected to be a big hit.
The one-piece feast features two pieces of the Colonel’s chicken as ‘buns’, like all versions of the Double before it.
But what makes the new Double different is the smoked maple mayonnaise and fluffy waffle that’s paired with bacon to top it off.
The KFC team is also heavily launching the Original Double, which now includes the new Original Crispy Steaks, and is bringing back the crowd-pleasing Zinger Double.

What makes the new Double different is the smoked maple mayonnaise and fluffy waffle that has been combined with bacon to top it off.
KFC Australia CMO Tami Cunningham revealed the Double remains one of the company’s most requested menu items.
“We’re sure fans will be quick to get their hands on the new Waffle Double and Original Double, along with the returning Zinger Double. However, this triple double threat won’t last forever, so mark the date on your calendar and join it,” he said.
The Double has not been seen in the entire country since 2021.
Since 2011 it has reappeared on the menu with crazy twists, thrilling KFC customers; Popular versions include Zinger Mozzarella Double, Pizza Double, and Zinger Tower Double.
The new Double range will be available until July 8 at participating stores.
