KFC has announced the launch of a new limited edition menu item to celebrate the start of barbecue season.
With the days getting warmer and the nights lighter, Brits will be bringing out their barbecues again to celebrate the sun and try to improve their tan.
But if you don’t fancy slaving over a hot grill, you can head to the popular fast food chain, which is kicking off barbecue season with a bang thanks to the launch of its Ultimate BBQ Burger on Monday, April 29.
Featuring KFC’s signature Original Recipe chicken fillet, fresh lettuce, cheese and crispy onions, the new creation ensures every bite is juicy and full of flavour.

A sweet, sticky and smoky BBQ sauce adds up to a tantalizing new burger, with the ingredients packed between a brioche bun.
If you want to get your hands on KFC’s newest menu item, you’ll have to be quick.
It will only be available from April 29 to June 9, or while stocks last, for just £6.49 in restaurants across the UK.
If that’s not enough smoky flavour, you can combine it with the chain’s existing BBQ Bites for just £2.79 or go all out and enjoy the full barbecue experience with the Ultimate BBQ Burger Meal Box, which consists of a Ultimate BBQ Burger plus 1 mini steak, signature fries, BBQ sauce and choice of side and drink, for £9.99.
If you order your burger instead of visiting a store, for the first week after launch it will be available exclusively for delivery through Just Eat and KFC Delivery.
