Kevin Spacey was photographed arriving at a court in London today for the final day of his sexual assault trial.
The 63-year-old double Oscar winner is accused of assaulting four men “for his own sexual gratification” between 2001 and 2013.
Jurors have heard claims that the House of Cards star is a “sex bully” who delighted in making his assault victims feel “powerless and uncomfortable”.
But Spacey has denied all charges, and his lawyer told jurors that three of the complainants were lying and that he should not be convicted of “foolishly misleading” a fourth man.
The jury is expected to adjourn to consider their verdicts today after Judge Wall concludes his summary.
Kevin Spacey, 63, seen today, is accused of assaulting four men “for his own sexual gratification” between 2001 and 2013. He denies the charges.
In his closing speech last week, defense attorney Patrick Gibbs, KC, told Southwark Crown Court: ‘There are three liars in this case. We can’t see inside their brain with electrodes and know what they’re thinking.
‘The reason why they are lying can possibly only be known to them. the problem with [the fourth complainant’s] the evidence is not that he is a liar, but rather that he was not exactly sober as he describes, but no one was.
He went on to question the evidence provided by the family and friends of the whistleblowers, adding: “They have singled out the police for people who they believe will faithfully and genuinely echo the stories they have been told.”
‘Be careful to remember when considering this thread of evidence. It is not independent but rather it comes from the complainant himself and therefore the confirmation that these things happened is not independent.
“I’m not suggesting they’re liars, I’m suggesting they’re sounding boards for what they’ve been told.”
A man claims he was repeatedly assaulted by Spacey, including on one occasion while driving the star to one of Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball AIDS fundraisers at his Windsor home in the early 2000s.
In relation to this allegation, Mr Gibbs said: “By the time he went before the police, 20 years had passed.” A late accusation. We did the best we could all those years later to answer, whether or not we were successful is a matter for you.
‘Most of what [the man] she claims is so vague about the date and everything happened in private, that it is impossible to contradict her. And then what you’re left with is one person’s word against the other.
‘It turned out to be a complete fabrication. It’s that dramatic centerpiece, it’s the crotch grip. She grabbed him so hard that it caused him so much pain that he almost crashed the car.

Jurors have heard claims that the House of Cards star is a “sex bully” who delighted in making his assault victims feel “powerless and uncomfortable”.
The lawyer told the court that it “turned out, on the evidence, to be fiction” that was “designed to dramatize and dignify a reimagining long after the events of everything that really happened between those two men.”
‘It is a fiction that emphasizes that he never agreed to the contact that had taken place between the two of them, he had never consented to any type of sexual contact.
It would prove that, if it were true, wouldn’t it? And what I suggest is what it was designed to show.
‘That it was an abusive relationship that involved, to varying degrees, and ultimately resulted in violence and assault. But the Crown now says about that allegation, ‘well, the dates don’t matter.’
‘My reply is that they would say that now, wouldn’t they? Because none of the dates they have been based on work, all the dates have been disproved.
‘Is that why the case for Corona now is that dates don’t matter? Because there is no date that works.
Gibbs said: “I am not suggesting that [the man] He’s gay, but I’m suggesting he wouldn’t be the first person to run into a charismatic and persuasive admirer.
‘Although he may have been embarrassed and confused by it, in a way that he was referring to things with his girlfriend, in private, I suggest that he didn’t turn it down.

Spacey has denied all charges, and his lawyer told jurors that three of the complainants were lying and that he should not be convicted for making an “awkward advance” to a fourth man.
‘Maybe, I don’t know, I’m not a psychiatrist, he later had to re-describe what happened not only to his brother, but to himself, because that explained a confusing episode in a conventional life.
‘Maybe it even helped him feel angry about it. Now that Kevin Spacey has been canceled and people were asking him about it, he has the perfect opportunity.
“He had the perfect opportunity to rewrite history in those simple terms: ‘Kevin Spacey abused me as did the three other people that I see that CPS has identified.’ That was the moment of greatest opportunity to do that.
Spacey pleaded not guilty in January to three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
Previously, he also denied four more counts of sexual assault and one of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
Another count of indecent assault, an alternative charge, was added midway through the trial, bringing the total number of alleged crimes to 13.
On Wednesday, the judge struck down all four counts of indecent assault, due to a “legal technicality” and not as a result of the prosecution dropping any charges.
The charges relate to alleged crimes between January 1, 2001 and June 24, 2005.
The two-time Oscar winner starred in Glengarry Glen Ross, Seven, LA Confidential and Baby Driver. She also had the lead role in the Netflix series House of Cards.
