Kevin Costner sat down with Kelly Clarkson to an interview on a talk show on Monday.
The two stars, both single, had a good relationship and seemed to bond while talking about their new movie Horizon: An American Saga, which opens in theaters this week.

The Oscar winner also recently said that he is not dating singer Jewel and added that he is open to finding love again.
Kelly has been single since divorcing her husband Brandon Blackstock.
Kelly and Kevin seem like an ideal couple, and not just because they have the same initials.
The American Idol veteran looked sensational in a white T-shirt and skinny blue jeans after losing a drastic amount of weight last year.
She added cute gold earrings and wore her hair down with heavy bangs.
Kevin was very handsome in a beige collared sweater, light pants, beige boots, and a summer tan.
Kelly also spoke to far-left Lily Gladstone, as well as Isabel Deroy-Olson and Erica Tremblay.
Last week, Kevin said he’s open to finding love again after his recent split and amid his acrimonious divorce battle.
On living life after his split from Baumgartner, the actor said he’s “not going to let anything harden (his) heart.”

“You keep talking, you keep coaching (the kids), you keep interested in what they’re interested in,” he continued. “I had to do it”.
The father of seven, who shares children Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14, with Baumgartner, also added that he is hopeful of finding love again.
“Yes, I think everyone would like to be in love,” said the three-time Golden Globe winner, who also has four adult children: Annie, 40, Lily, 37, Joe, 36, and Liam, 27.
“There’s such a good feeling associated with that,” he continued.
“Perhaps it should be defined differently,” he added. “But yeah, I love the idea of that possibility.”
In the meantime, he’s been channeling his passion into Horizon: An American Saga, the first film in his upcoming four-part Western epic.
Horizon: An American Saga is a film directed and produced by himself, in addition to starring in a script he co-wrote. The film opens in theaters on June 28.
He put up $38 million of his own money and mortgaged property to help finance the film, but shared his enthusiasm for his life.

“I’ve had an incredibly unusual and, for the most part, beautiful life,” Costner said.
“I’ve taken some really big bites out of life, and life has taken some really big bites out of me, and I’ve never let it harden me and I’m not going to,” he added.
He also said that his top priority remains his children.
“It’s really about the kids,” says the actor and filmmaker. ‘I’m still teaching my children. And by the way, I’m still learning.’
During the same interview, he opened up about his rumored romance with Jewel.
The couple previously sparked romance rumors when they were spotted spending Thanksgiving together and then photographed at a charity event in the British Virgin Islands late last year.
In her cover story, she insisted that they are not dating amid rampant romance rumors.
“No, Jewel and I are friends,” he told People. “We’ve never dated.”
Clarkson won the Emmy for Daytime Talk Series for The Kelly Clarkson Show at the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on June 7 in Los Angeles.
Costner also added, “She’s special and I don’t want… I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.” She is special for me. She is beautiful enough to date.
He then explained how the rumors started when he visited Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island for a charity event that Jewel was involved with.
Recalling how he became friends with Jewel, Costner recalled, “Richard Branson had been asking me for years to come to Necker Island, and so I finally did.
‘I got divorced suddenly. I’m a single father and he asked me, you know, 10 years to come there. He said, “Well, I guess I’ll go down.”
Of his friendship with Jewel, he added: “She was someone I had tremendous conversations with, along with Emma (Watson).
“I was on (the plane) with nine people and I don’t want the press to ruin this for us, because I’ve had conversations with her, text messages and she’s very smart, and she’s been through a lot herself.” and so we have a friendship.
“We don’t have a romance and we haven’t dated,” she added. “She’s beautiful and smart enough for all those things.”
Costner has been going through a bitter divorce battle with Baumgartner since their split in May 2023, while Jewel was previously married to rodeo champion Ty Murray.
