Kevin Costner sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night talk about being a father to so many children.
This week, at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival in the south of France, to chat about Horizon: An American Saga, she brought five of her seven children: Annie, 40, Lily, 37, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15 , and Grace. 13-with whom he posed on the red carpet.
And Kevin admitted he had a hard time keeping track of them, sharing that he felt like he needed a ‘tour manager’ for them.
‘I wanted them to see me work. “I bought tuxedos, I bought dresses,” the actor told Kimmel.
And their children made the most of the trip: ‘TAs soon as they got there, my two sons went fishing. …My three daughters ended up on a boat and they said they would see me around three or four in the afternoon… and then I got a call and they were having drinks at that time, so they arrived around eight.
“I said, ‘We came to France to be a family.’ They say, ‘It’s working out great, Dad.’ What do we do next?” I said, “I don’t know. “We need a tour manager to figure that out.”

They were all dressed up for the premiere of their new movie, Horizon: An American Saga, as they posed on the red carpet with papa bear in the middle.
Annie and Lily are from his first marriage to Cindy Silva. Costner’s son, Joe, 36, also from her first marriage to Silva, was not present.
His youngest children, Cayden, Hayes and Grace, and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner’s children.

Costner and Bridget Rooney’s son Liam, 26, was also absent from the red carpet event.
A year ago, Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner after nearly 20 years of marriage.
Since then, she moved on with Josh Connor. And Kevin appears to be dating folk rock singer Jewel now, but they haven’t made their romance public yet.
Ahead of Horizon’s Cannes premiere on Sunday, the two-part saga has already been acquired by Metropolitan FilmExport, according to Variety.
It stars Sienna Miller, Luke Wilson, Sam Worthington and Jena Malone.
The film series follows a family who discovers the appeal of the Old West as the Civil War divides the country. Horizon: An American Saga makes its world premiere on Sunday at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
On Monday his interview with GQ came out where he talked about his son working on the film.
“I felt like time was passing… he’s 15 now,” she said of her son.
“I thought the window was closing for me to be able to play an effective role in that movie. And then I basically burned my boats.
‘Like Cortés, we are screwing here. I’m going to do this. And I mortgaged properties. Do you understand now?
He also said he has invested $38 million of his own money in the films.
“I guess I could buy apartments and I could buy McDonald’s and I could buy a bunch of stuff and just grow, grow, grow, grow…”
‘That’s the message I want my children to understand about who I am: that I do what I believe. I’m scared like everyone else. I don’t want to be humiliated.

And he referred to his marriage as falling apart.
‘Very serious things. And those things are very important. I have to deal with them,” he told GQ.
‘And I have to deal with them daily, emotionally, almost historically. And then there are the immediate needs of the children. I’m not going to list things; I’m going to stop right there with them. “That’s my job, to look at that and deal with that.”
And he added: ‘I have taken big bites out of life, life has taken big bites out of me, right? I’m not going to get lost because I’ve been hurt. I have been, but I’m not going to get lost. And what I’m going to do is… because now we’re going after the white whale, okay?
“So I can’t let go of this rope no matter how much my heart is in the ground, no matter how broken I may be on a daily basis, I can’t let go of this rope because if I do, this thing called Horizon will stop.

“And Horizon is not more important than the other things in my life, but I have a level of responsibility to those guys who invested in me, to the people who believe in me, to the people who want to work on all four, and I’m willing to postpone other jobs at the suggestion that he might work.
And that’s why no matter how much water hits me in the face, I can’t let go of the rope that is this thing.

Kevin also talked about Yellowstone with GQ.
Yellowstone isn’t over yet.
It’s only halfway through its fifth season and there are no solid plans to end the ranch life saga.
On Monday, Costner, who plays patriarch John Dutton on TV’s No. 1 show, shared some insights with GQ.
The Oscar-winning star maintained that he told creator Taylor Sheridan that he would help finish the series, but no script ever came to him.
He co-wrote and directed Horizon, in which he stars alongside Sienna Miller, Luke Wilson, Sam Worthington and Jena Malone.

And Costner also said that he and Taylor have a “private” reason for not moving forward, hinting that they have disagreements about how the show should end.
But the star, who is promoting his film Horizon, said he wants to help put an end to the Dutton saga for the sake of the “audience”.
Just hours after Kevin’s interview appeared, Paramount Network announced that Yellowstone had already begun production on the end of season five and was Currently filming in Montana.
As previously announced, the series is scheduled to return in November 2024.

He shared that he only did Horizon because he wanted to work more and felt like he could do Horizon and Yellowstone at the same time.
“I always wanted to make this movie,” Costner said, “and I was making Yellowstone.” I love Yellowstone.’
Costner said he was so committed to Yellowstone that he renegotiated his original three-season contract for up to seven seasons total.
