Kerry Washington stars in neon attire and recites affirmations as she prepares to promote her new show UnPrisoned
Kerry Washington shared a video showing how she was preparing to promote her new show UnPrisoned on her Instagram account on Wednesday.
In the clip, the 46-year-old artist synced to a soundbite of a person reciting affirmations as she showed off her striking look for the day.
The actress, who will be releasing a memoir in the near future, will star alongside Delroy Lindo in the program, which will be released later this month.
Washington wore an all-yellow-green outfit with a low-cut top worn under a button-up shirt.
The Primetime Emmy-nominated performer also wore slightly baggy pants as she prepared to promote her new show.

The Scandal star added a little extra shine to her look with hoop earrings and her gorgeous brunette hair tied back.
The actress also lip-synced a list of affirmations, saying that “this week you’re going to make choices that bring you joy and heal those around you.” And you’re really going to nurture your inner child.”
Development on UnPrisoned was revealed to the public in May last year.
The show revolves around a couples therapist whose father is released from prison after nearly two decades and then moves in with her.
Washington will star alongside Lindo, with the pair both serving as executive producers on the project.
Other cast members include Marque Richardson, Jee Young Han and Faly Rakotohavana.
Washington opened up during an interview with Vanity Fairwhere she said she had always wanted to work with Lindo.
“I probably should have said this earlier in the process, but at one point I said to them, ‘Look, there’s only one person I want to play my father, and that was Delroy Lindo.’ He’s been one of my acting heroes for a very, very long time,” she said.

The artist went on to say that she was excited to have been able to work on a comedy-focused project.
“It was a lot of fun stepping into this world together. I love that there’s no vanity in comedy… It’s exciting to be making material in this landscape because streaming has made room for more of this comic-human stuff,” she said.
Washington also noted that she wanted her show to inspire conversations about how incarceration affects families across the country.
“Maybe if we can reflect this experience and normalize it in how we talk about family, we can have the courage to look at it and ask ourselves if we’re okay with it,” she said.
UnPrisoned is currently premiering on the Hulu streaming service on March 10.
