Kerry Washington expresses ‘love and prayers’ for ‘movie husband’ Jamie Foxx after he experiences a medical emergency.

Kerry Washington sent “love and prayers” to her “Hospin” Jamie Foxx on Thursday, wishing the actor a speedy recovery after being hospitalized earlier this week.

Foxx, 55, experienced ‘medical complications’ on Tuesday and is said to be on the mend after his family released a social media update on Wednesday.

Taking to Instagram herself, Washington, 46, captioned a sweet photo of herself cuddling up to the Oscar winner, writing: “Aiamjamiefoxx post of appreciation. I am sending you all the love and prayers for two films.’

Red hearts and a praying hand emoji filled Keri’s post as the Emmy-winning star referenced her two roles alongside Foxx.

The pair first played husband and wife in the 2004 Ray Charles biopic, Ray, and again in 2012 when Kerry took on the role of Jamie’s enslaved wife Broomhilda in Quentin Tarantino’s Western epic, Django Unchained.

And Washington wasn’t the only leading lady in Hollywood sending Jimmy well. Academy Award winner Viola Davis, 57, posted a touching message of support for the Ray star on Instagram.

Davis captioned a photo of the two together: “Get well @iamjamiefoxx. We need you… your light, your brilliance.

The outpouring of love for Foxx comes after his family released a statement describing the star’s mysterious health incident as a “medical complication.”

But a source described the case to TMZ In more serious terms, they called it a “medical emergency,” though they said Foxx is now “communicating” again.

In their statement, Foxx’s family also revealed that the A-lister was “on the road to recovery.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to Foxx representatives, who have not yet responded.

Written by Jamie’s daughter Corinne Fox, 29, the family statement reads: “We wanted to share that, my dad, Jamie Foxx, experienced medical complications yesterday (Tuesday).

Fortunately, because of the quick work and great care, he’s already on the road to recovery. We know how loved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.

Sources confirmed to TMZ that Foxx’s unnamed condition was indeed serious enough to require him to go to the hospital.

Few details have been shared, and it’s unclear what symptoms the Oscar-winner may have been experiencing, or what led to his hospitalization.

Despite his family’s statement that his condition is improving, there is no information yet on when he will leave the hospital or return to photography.

Foxx was in Atlanta, GA shooting the Netflix comedy On Again With Cameron Diaz, but the production is said to have spiraled into a complete nightmare.
