Kerry Washington takes her acting roles very seriously.
The 47-year-old actress, who recently shared snaps from her trip to Disneyland Paris, was left looking very emotional. Instagram to post clips of herself learning to pole dance for her role in the hit Hulu series UnPrisoned on Friday.
She shared a progression of herself dancing like a pro in her first class to the day she put her skills to the test in front of the camera.
The star appeared to be in good spirits as she seductively clung to the pole and modelled sky-high heels in each clip.
“Trust the process. #PaigeOnThePole @unprisonedhulu is back in 5 DAYS!!!!!” she wrote in the comments.

The raven-haired beauty practiced with floor padding and a harness for safety.
The clip also gives a behind-the-scenes look at the crew filming the second season episode of UnPrisoned, in which Washington plays a young girl named Paige.
“This is so much fun,” he says as the cameras roll.
UnPrisoned Season 2 is set to premiere on Hulu on July 17.
The post was a hit with the New York native’s 7.4 million followers, racking up over 15.6 thousand likes and 320 comments as fans rushed to write in the comments to express their support for the actress.
“I loved filming this scene! I can’t wait for the world to see this season!” wrote co-star Brandee Evans.
