Kerry has frequently publicly reflected on her childhood growing up in Warrington, Cheshire, and last year recalled the horrific moment her mother’s ex-boyfriend threatened to “cut off her feet” after stabbing her troubled father.
The mother of five went on to say that she was subsequently sent to foster care after the ordeal that occurred when she was just 13 years old.
