Kerry Katona has revealed she received a worrying health update from doctors following her recent nose job.
The media personality, 43, went under the knife earlier this month to repair the damage he caused during years of drug abuse.
But as she recovers from the procedure, Kerry told how doctors discovered she has calcified bones; the accumulation of calcium salts in a body tissue.
In its OK! columnKerry said her doctor was surprised to see such advanced calcified bones in someone her age.
She wrote: “During my post-op, my surgeon, Dr. Raghavan, said they had difficulty getting the cartilage during the operation because he had never seen anyone at my age with such an advanced state of calcified bones.

‘When he said the words ‘advanced stage’ I shit myself and the blood ran out of my face, because that’s what you normally hear when it’s something serious like cancer, so I was worried, but I wasn’t.
“It’s something I take painkillers for.”
The TV personality previously admitted that cocaine used to be her “only friend” while opening up about her past drug abuse.
Kerry, who started using drugs at age 14, has spoken openly about her bipolar disorder and addiction problems in the past.
The star, who entered rehab in 2008 and 2010, revealed he hasn’t touched cocaine in 15 years during an appearance on MailOnline’s podcast, Straight to the Comments.
Speaking to hosts Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, Kerry said: “I haven’t touched cocaine in 15 years.
When asked if she had given up alcohol and drugs, she replied: “No, I love to drink, but cocaine was more my poison and also I married my drug dealer because I thought I would get it a little cheaper.”
And he added: “I wouldn’t say it was an addiction, but rather a codependency.” This was at a time when I was getting 40 paparazzi outside my house, my mom was selling stories about me, and I was married to a drug dealer.
Kerry previously revealed that she would have a rib removed to make her new nose and that it would be used to replace cartilage “to make it look a little smaller” (pictured with her surgeon).
Kerry detailed how she came to abuse drugs, explaining that her mother had introduced her to them at the age of 14, after previously entering rehab in 2008 and 2010 (pictured with her mother Sue).

‘Cocaine became my only friend, it was all I had. Rehab didn’t help me quit cocaine at all; when I came out I met my drug dealer.’
Kerry continued to talk about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder: “You see, mental health wasn’t a big thing back then, no one knew what bipolar disorder was, I didn’t know, I thought it was a sport! So when they told me that I was bipolar, no one had ever heard of it, and suddenly it became common.
‘My Drug dependence I started long before I was famous, I was 14 years old and my mom told me it was sorbet and it was speed. I thought that’s what you did with your mother. That was normal for me.
When asked how she went from doing drugs to joining the hit pop group Atomic Kittens, Kerry said: “I have no idea, she had a great pair of tits and she was in the right place at the right time.” ‘

Kerry, who is no stranger to going under the knife, previously underwent a tummy tuck in 2021, another stomach operation in 2023, as well as multiple operations and breast reductions.
In January, she showed the results of undergoing blepharoplasty, which removes excess skin from the eyelids.
However, Kerry, mother of Molly, 22, Lilly, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and DJ, nine, admitted that her children were not happy about having her eyes operated on.
She revealed that when her older children called her on FaceTime at the hospital, it “scared” them, so she hasn’t shown DJ the results because it would “scare” her.
