Kentucky high school principal ARRESTED on his first day at new school over claims he attacked his girlfriend’s ex after seeing them together
- Leroy Littles Sr., 44, was arrested at Olmsted Academy North in Louisville for fourth-degree assault and third-degree terrorist threat.
- He arrived at his girlfriend’s Bullitt County home on Christmas Day when he saw her out with an ex-boyfriend, according to a police report.
- The high school principal began arguing with her before she allegedly assaulted the man who sustained injuries to his face and head.
The principal of a high school in Kentucky was arrested Monday on his first day on the job over claims he attacked his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend on Christmas Day.
Leroy Littles Sr., 44, was greeted with a ‘Welcome Principal Littles’ sign outside his new Olmsted Academy North school in Louisville.
He later received an arrest warrant for assault in the fourth degree and terroristic threat in the third degree and was taken to the Metro Department of Corrections.
Littles had arrived at his girlfriend’s Bullitt County home on Christmas Day when he saw her out with an ex-boyfriend, according to a police report.
The high school principal began arguing with her before she allegedly assaulted the man who sustained injuries to his face and head.

The principal was greeted with a ‘Welcome Beginning Littles’ sign outside his new Olmsted Academy North school in Louisville, where he later received a warrant for his arrest.

Hillview police officers arrived at the scene, but Littles was gone.
But the victim reportedly recorded the incident on video and turned it over to the Bullitt County Prosecutor’s Office days later.
The Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) district sent a letter to parents of Olmsted Academy North students regarding the principal’s arrest.
It read: ‘You may have seen or heard local media stories about the allegations against Olmsted North Principal Leroy Littles, Sr. The charges are unrelated to JCPS.
‘JCPS is following its normal procedures for personnel-related complaints. In the interim, Assistant Principal Ebony Booker will serve as Managing Director, effective immediately.
Vice Principal Ebony Brooker has been put in charge of the school.
Before his first day as principal of Olmsted Academy North, Littles said, “I am excited, honored and privileged to take on the next chapter in my educational journey as principal of Frederick Law Olmsted Academy North.”

Littles has served JCPS for more than 16 years and was previously an English teacher before completing a program that develops school leaders.

He was an assistant principal at Valley Health and Science Academy before becoming a principal’s intern at Waggener High School earlier this year.
