KENNEDY: I watched FEAR creep across Kamala’s face during her trainwreck ’60 Minutes’ interview – but it was one horrific mistake that truly cost her everything

With four weeks left until the election, our would-be commander in chief finally showed up for a big girl interview on Monday night after dodging any real scrutiny for months.

It didn’t take her long to realize that vibrations alone couldn’t help her get through this.

To date, our lady vice president has enjoyed the journalistic equivalent of a spa day.

In August, CNN’s Dana Bash applied a beautiful mud mask to all of her and emotional support dog Tim Walz’s flaws. The ABC News debate moderators last month helped pull out the ugly stray hairs. And weeks later, MSNBC’s Stephanie Drool cleaned Kamala up with a drooling tongue bath.

But veteran journalist Bill Whitaker apparently isn’t rubbing his own back.

Right off the bat, he landed a blow on Kamala’s most vulnerable part.

‘(The United States supplies) Israel billions of dollars in military aid and yet (Israeli) Prime Minister Netanyahu appears to be charting his own course… Does the United States have no influence over Prime Minister Netanyahu? ‘ Whitaker asked.

It was on.

Kamala versus a real question.

“The work we do diplomatically with Israel’s leadership is an ongoing quest to make our principles clear,” he responded.

Hey? It was one of his most convincing answers.

Whitaker pressed her to call Trump “racist,” even though the former president has the unwavering, sometimes fanatical, support of millions of Americans.

How can that be? Whitaker asked. Does Harris think Trump voters are racist too? he hinted.

Kamala, who also once smeared Joe Biden for supporting discriminatory busing policies when he was a senator, fumbled for an answer.

“I think the American people recognize that the true measure of a leader’s strength is not who you defeat, but who you lift up.”

For example, how Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff allegedly punched a woman in public and undoubtedly lifted the family nanny’s dress before allegedly getting her pregnant?

I understand.

On the economy, Whitaker challenged the Veep to explain how he would pay for his proposals to increase the child tax credit, freebies for first-time home buyers and big grants for small business owners.

‘When you invest in small businesses, you invest in the middle class and strengthen the United States economy. “Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy,” he sputtered.

Vertebral columns. Good. We’ve only heard that 748,000 times.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR IT?

Bill, God bless him, insisted, ‘How are they going to get this through Congress?’

The secret to its success is, evidently, legislating quietly.

“When you talk quietly to a lot of people in Congress, they know exactly what I’m talking about,” Harris said. “Because your constituents know exactly what I’m talking about.”

I’m a voter and I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

At that moment, Kamala seemed drunk, but her ’60 Minutes’ interlocutor was just warming up.

Whitaker: His critics and columnists say… the reason so many voters don’t know him is that he has changed his positions… He supported looser immigration policies, now he is tightening them. You were in favor of Medicare for all, now you’re not.

The fear crossed Kamala’s face. And when you start stepping deep yogurt, the incomprehensible nonsense begins to flow.

Harris: We are a diverse people. Geographically, regionally, in terms of where we are in our origins. What the American people do want is for us to have leaders who can build consensus… that has been my approach.

Is that what the “American people” want? Cowardly, directionless politicians who have no fundamental beliefs?

The wheels were falling off the vibe bus, but Harris really stumbled upon a potentially crippling moment for her candidacy when she was asked why she and President Jell-O Mold stood by as the border crisis exploded.

Whitaker: There was a historic flood of undocumented immigrants crossing the border during the first three years of your administration… Was it a mistake to relax immigration policies as much as you did?

Kamala zigzagged. Bill asked again.

Whitaker: What I was asking was, was it a mistake to allow that flood to happen in the first place?

Kamala dove.

Whitaker: The numbers (of illegal immigration) quadrupled under your leadership. Should you have done that?

Harris: We need Congress to be able to act to really solve the problem.

Ding, ding, ding. Throw in the towel. Technical knockout.

With less than 28 days until the 2024 election, Kamala Harris can’t muster a coherent response on one of the most critical issues of the election.

Although, in her defense, at least she showed up. President Trump dared to return to the site of his assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last weekend, but reportedly walked out of a meeting with 60 Minutes.

This may have been the last chance for the candidates to reach a national audience before voters pulled the lever in November.

Trump didn’t shower. And Harris was a no-brainer.

Good luck, America.
