Kelsey Parker previously said she knew her late husband Tom would “send the right man to her,” weeks before revealing her new romance.

On Sunday, the 33-year-old mother of two took to Instagram to share a photo of her new partner and simply captioned the post with a heart emoji.

Kelsey was widowed in March 2022 when her husband Tom Parker, best known as a member of The Wanted, passed away after battling brain cancer at just 33 years old.

In November of that year she dated electrician Sean Boggans, although they have since split.

In an interview with OK! magazine in June, Kelsey shared that she knows Tom will “send the right guy to her.”

She said, “When it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be, and I guess that person will be sent by Tom. He’s choosing them for me.”

Detailing her thoughts on her now ex Sean Boggans, who she dated after Tom’s death, she added: “I think she sent Sean for a reason. Sean was what she needed at the time and it was wonderful.

“I will never say a bad word about him, but right now I need to focus on work and raising my children.”

Over the weekend, Kelsey took to Instagram to share a snap of herself snuggling up to her new partner.

She was in great spirits as the pair embraced in an outdoor spot, and Kelsey simply captioned the post with a heart emoji.

Kelsey didn’t share any specific details about her new man, but she did receive several messages of support from her famous friends.

In November 2022, eight months after Tom’s death, she began dating electrician Sean Boggans, although they have since split.

The couple were introduced by friends at a wedding in Greenwich, London, last October but split as the first anniversary of Tom’s death approached.

“Kelsey and Sean split up around the anniversary of Tom’s death – she was very nervous at the time and was reeling, but Sean still really liked her and pursued her,” a source told The Sun.

“After a few weeks of talking, they got back together. She couldn’t ignore her feelings for him. It’s been really hard for them, but she wants to try.”

Sean spent time behind bars after fatally beating Shaun McDermott, 44, during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, Essex.

He was waiting for his then girlfriend to pick him up when an argument broke out with Shaun, who fell to the ground during the scuffle. CCTV footage later captured the electrician walking away from the scene.

Police discovered Shaun lying on the pavement at around 1am with a brain bleed. A post-mortem determined he had died as a result of his head injuries, and an Old Bailey judge sentenced Boggans to four years in prison.

Despite finally finding happiness again, Kelsey was inundated with vile messages about not “grieving properly” even though she was finding it difficult to cope.

Kelsey hit back at trolls when she told The Daily Star: ‘When you lose someone you love so much, it shows you that you only have one life.

“Tom would want me to be happy. We have one life and we should live it. That’s what he taught us.”

“As far as dating again goes… what does that have to do with anything else? I think you have to do what makes you happy in life.”

‘There’s a lot of stigma about how you should grieve. People think you have to dress in black, wear a veil over your face and be a walking widow. But that’s not the case. I’m still young and I have children to look after.

‘There’s no rule book for grieving and what I tell people is: don’t worry about how you’re grieving because there’s no right or wrong way to do it.

In an interview with OK! magazine in June, Kelsey shared that she knows Tom will “send the right guy to her.”

“You can be smiling one minute and deep in emotion the next. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.”

Kelsey previously said her late husband would be “happy” if she found love again after his death.

She and Tom were together for around 13 years. They announced their engagement in 2016 and tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Surrey in 2018.

Tom was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020 and was given just 12 months to live by doctors.

In September 2021, 11 months after his diagnosis, Tom sang at the Stand Up 2 Cancer show at the Royal Albert Hall and even embarked on a Greatest Hits tour with his bandmates when the tumour was confirmed to be “stable” in November.

But a close family friend revealed today that Tom’s condition deteriorated rapidly once the tour ended and he died in March 2022.
