Kellyn Acosta – Los Angeles FC and USA star – ‘has three Rolexes stolen in break-in

Los Angeles FC and USA star Kellyn Acosta ‘has stolen three Rolexes after thieves broke into her home’, just days before the start of the new MLS season

Los Angeles FC and USMNT star Kellyn Acosta has been the victim of a robbery, with thieves stealing three of her expensive Rolex watches, according to a report.

TMZ reports that the 27-year-old’s Los Angeles-area home was broken into last week, with burglars entering the property through a gate and making off with three of the football player’s expensive wristwatches.

Police said no other items were stolen in the robbery, and TMZ reports that cops are “not ruling out the possibility of an inside job.” An investigation is ongoing.

The raid will be a major disruption to Acosta’s season preparations, with the MLS campaign kicking off in just three days.

Acosta’s team, LAFC, faces local rivals LA Galaxy in an El Trafico derby on opening day, meaning the player will stay local to the California area.

Acosta was born in Plano, Texas and began his playing career at the FC Dallas academy before making the first team in 2013.

After five years and 139 appearances in his home state, the US international was traded to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Dominique Badji.

He then spent three years with the Rapids before moving to LAFC last year, winning the MLS Cup in his first year with the team.

Acosta also captained the USA last month and is currently in the prime of his career, at the age of 27.
