Kellyanne Conway has responded to “misogynist” Mark Cuban after he sparked a furore on The View by saying Donald Trump doesn’t surround himself with “intelligent women.”
Conway, who served as Senior Advisor to the former president during his administration, said: “Hi, I’m Kellyanne Conway with a special message for Mark Cuban and all the other misogynists who support Kamala Harris and love to spew hateful, divisive, sexist rhetoric.”
‘(Trump) is not afraid to surround himself with strong, intelligent and capable men and women,” he continued, in a video message recorded in Washington, D.C.
‘Do you recognize this place? “This is The Ellipse, where a strong, intelligent woman is currently speaking… without a teleprompter,” he said from the iconic DC park while playfully mocking Harris, who has been accused of having difficulty speaking without a script.
Kellyanne Conway responded to “misogynist” Mark Cuban after he sparked fury on The View by saying Donald Trump doesn’t surround himself with “intelligent women.”
In 2016, Conway, who recently joined DailyMail.com as a special columnist on the US elections, made history as the first woman to successfully run a presidential campaign.
However, speaking on ABC’s women-led panel show, billionaire businessman Cuban lashed out at Trump’s female aides on Thursday, saying: ‘Donald Trump, you never see him surrounded by strong, intelligent women, ever. It’s that simple… They seem intimidating. He doesn’t like to be challenged.
It’s no secret that Cuban, who made the comments via video link and appeared to be on a private jet, is an avid supporter of Harris and has acted in recent weeks as a surrogate for her campaign.
Cuban’s vile comments are just the latest of many examples of hate speech launched by Democrats and Harris supporters in the final days of the 2024 election campaign.
On Monday night, Biden called Trump supporters “trash” during a Zoom interview as his vice president, and potential successor, gave her closing statement on The Ellipse.
The reaction following Cuban’s comments has been brutal, with Trump’s national press secretary Karoline Leavitt also responding by saying: “This is extremely insulting to the thousands of women who work for President Trump and the tens of millions of women who proudly vote for him.’
