Kelly Ripa has hit back at the haters after sparking a heated debate over a popular Thanksgiving dish, angrily telling them they “don’t have any real problems.”
The 54-year-old television host sparked outrage after Monday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark when she asked viewers at home whether they called the side dish “filling” or “dressing.”
Although Kelly explained that different parts of the country used different terms, it didn’t take long for keyboard warriors to correct her and say that “stuffing” and “dressing” are two different things.
And the furor continued on Tuesday’s show, where Kelly addressed the backlash and told disgruntled viewers to “get a life.”
“I mean, forget all political discourse,” she said.
“The real discourse is the people arguing about stuffing and dressing.”

Kelly continued, “Actually, what I’m going to say is get a life, honestly. Just buy one. Calm down.
“If you’re worried about this, congratulations, you don’t have any real problems.”
In the north of the country, many people call the bread and herb dish ‘filling’, but in the south it is often called ‘dressing’.
However, many have argued that the terminology varies depending on whether the dish is made inside or outside the roasted bird.
“The same ingredients, except the stuffing, are cooked inside the bird and the dressing is cooked in the oven in a baking dish,” one person said on Instagram.
Echoing the same sentiment, another wrote: “The stuffing is ‘stuffed’ inside the bird, the dressing is baked in a baking dish.”
A third added: ‘I was always under the impression that the stuffing was cooked inside the turkey and the dressing was fried separately outside the turkey.’
Elsewhere on Monday’s show, Kelly’s husband Mark Consuelos shamelessly flirted with her as she described sticking her neck out.
The host asked if viewers call the dish ‘filling’ or ‘dressing’, but they claim it depends on how it’s made
Despite initially saying he was “glad” he wasn’t involved in how she was injured, he quickly changed his mind after she explained exactly how she pinched her neck.
“Just to be clear, I did it to myself,” she told the studio audience, before stating that the injury was not due to “an old age thing, where you sneeze and throw your neck out or hang up your coat and you throw your neck out.” ‘
The talk show host explained that she craned her neck during a “fairly advanced” Pilates move that she had never done before.
“It’s an abdominal exercise,” she revealed.
“So your arms are down, you roll your feet back, and then you slowly bring your legs down.”
As Kelly described sticking her neck out, her longtime husband, whom she married in 1996, couldn’t help but make a risqué joke about how she got hurt.

Kelly added that she ended up hurting herself after “throwing her legs over with too much ferocity” and almost falling “all the way back off the machine.”
After hearing this, Mark, who married Kelly in 1996, couldn’t help but make a risqué joke about how she got hurt.
He mused, “On second thought, I might wish I was involved in that.” The way you describe this movement. This step fascinates me.’
He further suggested that they try the move this weekend.
“I did it with too much enthusiasm because part of my personality disorder is that once I try something, I think I’m an expert,” she said, brushing off her husband’s flirting.
