Kelly Osbourne has spoken openly about her shocking experiences in rehab.

The 39-year-old media personality, whose boyfriend Sid Wilson was burned to death during an explosion on their shared farm, appears in the new documentary. TMZ Investigate Matthew Perry and the secret celebrity drug trafficking network.

Osbourne, who is a recovering addict, shared that some rehab centers exploit their patients for financial gain.

She admitted: ‘The first rehab I went to was like a university on how to be a better drug addict.’

The upcoming documentary explores Perry’s death at age 54 from a ketamine overdose last October.

While speaking to TMZ's Harvey Levin in a sneak peek, Osbourne, who is a recovering addict, shared that some rehab centers exploit their patients for financial gain.

Osbourne said in the new conversation: “I learned so many tricks, so many things that I never thought I would think of from my fellow addicts who were in (rehab).”

The star, who has previously admitted to using heroin aged 13, explained: “I also saw people threatening to stop until they got what they wanted.

‘Whether it was Ambien for sleep or Valium for nerves, they would end up getting it somehow.’

The host clarified: ‘So the rehab center is faced with: ‘either give me the drugs or I leave and you lose your $100,000.’

The former Fashion Police host confirmed: “Mmhmm, and they end up giving them whatever they asked for.”

In the short clip ahead of the documentary’s premiere, Kelly also shared a term called “body brokers.”

She explained: ‘They sit outside AA meetings looking for weak and vulnerable people who they encourage to go and relapse so they can then pick them up again.’

When the presenter told her it was “hard to believe”, the mother of one child insisted: “I swear on all sides that it’s true. And it’s heartbreaking.”

In mid-August, several drug dealers were arrested and charged in connection with the death of beloved Friends star Matthew.

Among them were “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha and Dr. Salvador Plasencia.

At the time, U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said of Sangha and Plasencia: “These defendants were more concerned with profiting from Mr. Perry than his well-being.

‘Drug dealers who sell dangerous substances play with other people’s lives out of greed.’

These days Kelly is sober and raising her son Sidney, who turns two in November, with her boyfriend Sid Wilson of the band Slipknot.

In June 2021, Kelly appeared on the Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk with Jada and Willow Smith to discuss her drug addiction, which began when she was a teenager.

She revealed at one point that she was using heroin to save money since the drug was less expensive than prescription pills like Vicodin and Percocet.

Earlier this year, the former MTV star said she was hopeful her past drug use would prevent her from getting cancer.

On an episode of her family’s podcast The Osbournes, she said: “I hope I’ve embalmed myself so I never get cancer.”

She added in a casual tone: “I’m high on all the drugs and alcohol, for sure.”
