Kelly Osbourne denied using Ozempic to help her lose 85 pounds after welcoming her son Sidney in 2022.
The reality TV star, 39, revealed she lost weight “quickly” by cutting out “sugar and carbs” and not using Hollywood’s favorite weight-loss drug.
‘I know everyone thinks I took Ozempic. I didn’t take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. “My mom took Ozempic,” she said. Extra in a new interview.
Kelly, who called Ozempic “amazing” earlier this year, revealed that the weight loss was due to developing gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
“I had gestational diabetes and had to lose the weight I had gained during pregnancy otherwise I was at higher risk of getting diabetes, which I didn’t want.”

It appears the confusion over Kelly’s use of Ozempic stems from her previously defending the weight-loss drug earlier this year.
Kelly made it clear that she is a big fan of Ozempic and his competitors, despite previously admitting that she went “too far” in her quest to lose post-baby weight last year.
“I think it’s unbelievable,” the reality star-turned-TV host said of the drug on Jan. 30 at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala, according to MY! News.
His approval of the drug was somewhat surprising, considering how public his mother Sharon Osbourne, 71, has been about her negative experience using it.
Part of the appeal for Kelly was that she found it less “boring” than changing her diet and increasing exercise to lose weight.
