Kelly Clarkson allegedly forgot the lyrics to a song and had a wardrobe malfunction during her performance in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Friday.
“She briefly suffered a wardrobe malfunction and had to approach one of her backup singers to pull out her hair,” a source explained.
“She made a comment about wanting to rock, like moving her head up and down, and she couldn’t because she was stuck,” the source added.
Kelly suffered another mistake later when she ended up forgetting the lyrics to her song Mine.
The singer admitted that she was not present before remaking the song.
“I’m not around right now,” Kelly said, the source recalled.
“I’ve left these letters aside… like Elsa,” she added, referencing the Disney movie Frozen.
‘Just so you know, that’s what a singer does. I was like, “Oh shit, what?” I was like, ‘Totally,'” he added.
He gave the song another chance, adding just before he started singing, “Let’s do it again.” I’ll do it right.’
The performance came several days before Kelly finally admitted to using a weight-loss drug.
He had previously insisted his dramatic transformation was the result of “walking” more and cutting back on carbohydrates.
Clarkson wowed in a tight black jumpsuit that highlighted her weight loss, but unfortunately her hair got stuck in the back zipper.
The singer also reportedly forgot the lyrics to her song Mine.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host made the confession while interviewing Whoopi Goldberg, 68, on her show on Monday.
The Fort Worth, Texas-born star, who has been at the center of speculation about her rapid weight loss for months, said doctors prescribed her weight-loss medication after a blood test.
She insisted she did not use Ozempic, but did not reveal what drug she used instead.
“Mine is different than what people assume, but I ended up having to do that too,” the A Moment Like This singer told the EGOT winner. “Everyone thinks it’s Ozempic, but it’s not, it’s something else.”
He reportedly lost 60 pounds, according to additional television, although Kelly has not revealed the exact amount.
The performance came before Kelly finally admitted to using a weight-loss drug.
The pop star, who shares daughter River Rose, nine, and son Remington Alexander, seven, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, 47, said her doctor insisted she take the medication after repeated efforts for him to take it.
“My doctor pursued me for two years,” he said. “And I said, ‘No, I’m afraid. “I already have thyroid problems, I was afraid.”
Kelly said the medication she takes is “something that helps break down sugar” since her “body doesn’t do that well.”
The singer, presumably talking about not realizing she had progressively gained weight, said she was taken aback when she looked at herself in front of the camera at one point and saw her drastic transformation.
She added: “Seeing yourself, I didn’t see it… all of a sudden, I was like, ‘Who the fuck is that?'”
She admitted that she used a weight-loss medication during an interview with Whoopi Goldberg on Monday.
Kelly’s admission came less than five months after she told him People in January that his weight loss was due in part to a greater focus on simple exercise and a healthy diet.
“Walking around the city is quite a workout,” the artist, who moved her show from Los Angeles to New York City last year, told the magazine.
She told the magazine that she had been eating “a healthy mix” of foods and occasionally splurged.
“The other night I had frozen yogurt with my daughter and it was magical,” she said.
Clarkson told the publication: “I lost weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor – a couple [of] years that I didn’t do it.
‘And 90 percent of the time I’m very good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat. Sorry, there are vegetarians in the world!’
