Kellie Pickler sold the home she shared with her late husband Kyle Jacobs 15 months after his death.

Six months after first listing the property for nearly $3 million, the 37-year-old country singer finalized the sale of the four-bedroom, five-bathroom custom home for $2.3 million.

The 4,875-square-foot Tudor-style home is the former marital home where the couple lived together and where Jacobs took his own life at age 49 in February 2023.

Nearly nine months after her tragic death, he listed the home for $2.89 million and then lowered the offer to $2.6 million in March in an effort to offload the property.

The American Idol alum, who rose to fame after finishing in sixth place on season five, previously purchased the property for $1.43 million in January 2010, just a year before she married the music producer.

The property has a large backyard with attached porch and pool.

The home also has a two-story fireplace in the living room and a large kitchen with a center island.

There is also a wine cellar and media room, as well as laundry rooms on each level.

Previously, Pickler and Jacobs began dating in 2008.

Two years later, the couple got engaged in Florida and married the following year during a surprise wedding ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean.

The couple had been married for 12 years before Jacobs’ death.

Half a year after his death, Pickler broke his silence for the first time as she mourns the tragic loss of her husband.

In a statement shared with Peopleshared a piece of advice that Jacobs had shared with him previously.

“One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a time of crisis,” she wrote. ‘”If you don’t know what to do, don’t do anything. Just stay still.” I have decided to follow his advice.

He also shared his gratitude for the outpouring of love and condolences he had received during the difficult time.

“Thank you to my family, friends and followers for the countless letters, calls and messages you have sent me,” he said.

‘It has really touched my soul and is helping me get through the darkest time of my life. As many of you have told me, you are all in my prayers.’

That fall she also said she would hold an “intimate memorial” for her husband.

The toxicology report found no drugs in his system, although it indicated that Jacobs had a history of “pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use.”

According to a statement from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, authorities responded to a call at 1:21 p.m. on February 17 when Pickler could not find her husband when he woke up and was unable to open the upstairs bedroom.

Last month, on April 22, Pickler made her first stage appearance since Jacobs’ death and performed in Nashville at the Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline concert.

Dedicated to her deceased, she performed The Woman I Am, a song she co-wrote with her late husband.

“The last time I was here at the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night,” she said. “And I know he’s here with us tonight.”
