The reality TV star’s passing was announced on July 2 by blogger Marcella Speaks during a YouTube livestream.

Marcella read a statement she shared from Keke’s family, which said Keke died “peacefully at home, surrounded by love.”

The family remembered Keke as “a mother, a sister and a great friend, full of life, love and laughter.”

KeKe’s cousin and reality TV co-star LaTisha Scott also shared a statement on her Instagram.

“We ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY at this time of grief as we process this great loss. This is hard on our family!!!!!” it read.
