Keegan Palmer has once again been crowned Olympic champion.

The 21-year-old Australian skater dominated the men’s final in Paris on Wednesday to defend the gold medal he won in Tokyo three years ago.

Her score of 93.11 was too good for the rest of the field, who suffered crashes in their last two races and were therefore unable to challenge her total.

As a result, Palmer said he felt “lucky” that things worked out for him in Paris.

“Man, I can’t even believe it,” he told Nine. “I was literally speechless. I was very lucky though because everyone crashed in their last two races, but I had something prepared. Just in case it was needed.

-But I do not know. Dude, I’m speechless. I can’t believe it, bro.

“Everyone is shouting at me. I’m happy. Come on, Australia! Let’s do it!”
