And Ke Huy Quan reunited with Indy himself, Harrison Ford, at the D23 expo event last month after 38 years.
The 51-year-old actor was at the event to announce that he would be joining the cast of the Marvel series Loki when he learned that Harrison, 80, would also be there.

Speaking to Kyle Buchanan of the New York Times, he recalled, “We were at the D23 event and I was told Harrison would be there.
“We’re in this green room with so many actors, producers and directors, and the person assigned to help me said, ‘Harrison Ford is just outside the green room. Would you like to go and say hi?”
He shared that Harrison was chatting with his co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge from the Indiana Jones 5 movie when he approached him, worried the actor wouldn’t recognize him after nearly 40 years.

He said, ‘When I walk close, my heart pounds. I think, “Will he recognize me? The last time he saw me, I was a little kid.”‘
He continued: “As I get closer, he turns and points his finger at me, and he has that classic, famous, grumpy Harrison Ford look.
“I go, ‘Oh my god, he probably thinks I’m a fan and he’s going to tell me not to go near him.’
“But he looks and points at me and says, ‘Are you Short Round?’

“I was immediately taken back to 1984, when I was a little kid, and I said, ‘Yeah, Indy.’ And he said, “Come here,” and gave me a big hug.’
Ke Huy gushed sweetly: ‘When I put my arms around him, all those beautiful memories came back. It felt so comfortable. It was wonderful, and he is a wonderful man – one of the most generous men on the planet.”
