Katy Perry squeezes into a chair with AI billionaire Sam Altman as they pose at a pre-Oscar party… while her fiance Orlando Bloom is not seen

Katy Perry was pictured huddled in a chair next to AI mogul Sam Altman, who is worth $2 billion.

They were at a pre-Oscars party in a photo shared on designer Diane Von Furstenberg’s Instagram Story on Sunday.

The 38-year-old tech mogul had his arm around the 39-year-old hitmaker as they sat next to each other and posed for a snap.

The songwriter – who is stepping down from her position as a judge on American Idol after seven seasons – stood out as she wore a flowy white dress that exposed her toned arms during the party.

The ET singer accessorized with several pieces of gold jewelry and her dark brunette hair fell down her back.

Not seen at the event was Perry’s fiance Orlando Bloom, who she began dating after they met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016.

Before getting involved with the 47-year-old performer, the singer was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor was also married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013 and they share a son named Flynn, 13, who was born in 2011.

Orlando eventually moved on with Perry and they went Instagram official with their relationship in May 2016.

The singer and actor split in February 2017, though they went on to reunite the following year.

The Teenage Dream singer and star of the Lord Of The Rings franchise further revealed that they had become engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.

Perry and Orlando subsequently started a family with the birth of their daughter Daisy Dove, aged three, in August 2020.

The actor spoke with Flaunt about his relationship with the songwriter, stating that they often disagreed about each other’s work.

“Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands,” he said.

Bloom then admitted that he occasionally went through rough patches with the Grammy Award-nominated hitmaker.

‘Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won’t lie. We definitely struggle with our emotions and creativity,” he said.

However, the performer stated that he was grateful to have been able to meet and start a family with the pop star.
