Katy Perry has admitted to using ‘witchcraft’ to snare her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
The 39-year-old American pop star made the revelation on Thursday. The Kyle and Jackie O Show ahead of his highly anticipated performance in the AFL Grand Final.
Jackie O Henderson asked Katy to reveal if it was love at first sight with Orlando, 47, or if it was a “slow hit”.
“When you met Orlando, did you know right away that it was like, ‘Yeah, this is the guy I’ve been waiting for’? Or was it a slow process? Did it build?” she asked.
“It definitely worked,” Katy replied. “I did a little spell on it and it came true.”
The admission intrigued everyone, including news anchor Brooklyn Ross, who pressed Katy to say more.
“Word for word, what was that spell?” he asked.
Katy explained that she had been going through a “difficult” time in her life and felt like she was “going through a vicious circle in love.”

“I literally thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to write a prescription for what I want in my future partner,'” she said.
‘And I wrote down two things that I remember very clearly: someone who would meet me in my adventure language, my love language, and also someone who was as spiritually curious as I was.’
Katy then revealed that she finally met Orlando at a 2016 Golden Globes party and that the pair hit it off over fast food.
“I put a little spell on him and it came true,” Katy revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday.
“I literally thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to write a prescription for what I want in my future partner,'” she said.
“I picked this dress. It was a shade of pink that I knew was related to rose quartz. I was doing all the things, you know, and then that night it happened,” she said.
“I ordered some In-N-Out burgers for an awards show and he stole one off the table. And I was like, ‘That’s interesting. You’re interesting. Hey. Don’t have my burger, take my burger.'”
The couple began dating immediately after the auspicious meeting and Orlando finally popped the question in 2019.
The lovebirds welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove into the world in August 2020.
Katy revealed that she finally met Orlando at a 2016 Golden Globes party and that they hit it off thanks to fast food.
Katy recently revealed to People How “hot and fast” couples’ arguments get.
“Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue heatedly and quickly, but then we calm down very quickly,” she explained.
“It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. OK, let’s move on,'” she explained.
The mother of one also called her group of three a “loud family” and said they call themselves “the chaos crew. We’re fire, fire, fire, and that’s why (Daisy) sees all that.”
