Katy Perry has spoken out about her relationship with Orlando Bloom and how “hot and fast” their arguments are.
The 39-year-old singer, who recently stripped down to a butterfly-shaped top, gushed over People about her partner and their four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove while promoting her new album on Thursday.
She proudly told the outlet that her daughter is a mix of herself and the 47-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star, saying, “She’s just not shy. It’s a product of both parents being very bold.”
Referring to her long-time boyfriend, she said: ‘Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue heatedly and quickly, but then we calm down very quickly.
“It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. OK, let’s move on,'” she explained.

The mother of one also called her group of three a “loud family” and said they call themselves “the chaos crew. We’re fire, fire, fire, and that’s why (Daisy) sees all that.”
She also gave fans a glimpse into Orlando’s romantic energy: “He’s a real sage. We both have parts of ourselves. There are two parts of us, our highest good and then our carnal, material self. The ego.
“When ego is in charge, one is surprised. But when that is under control, we are both something more.”
The couple met in January 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party and immediately began dating. He popped the question on Valentine’s Day 2019.
They welcomed Daisy Dove on August 26, 2020 in Los Angeles.
When she’s not spending time with her daughter, the star is busy promoting her seventh studio album, 143.
The album was released on Friday and includes some of her previously released singles: Woman’s World, Lifetimes and I’m His, He’s Mine.
While her comeback album was highly anticipated and her first is over four years old, her singles have been plagued with criticism.
In July, it was revealed that Katy had worked with producer Dr. Luke on new music, including the “female empowerment” anthem Woman’s World.
This sparked a backlash as Dr. Luke had already been locked in a decade-long legal battle with singer Kesha, 37, whom he sued in 2014 when she accused him of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, which he has vehemently denied.
Earlier this month, while appearing on Call Her Daddy, Katy defended her decision and addressed the controversy for the first time.
“I understand that this led to a lot of conversations,” she said of her decision to meet with Dr. Luke. “And he was one of the many collaborators that I collaborated with.”
The Wide Awake singer insisted that Luke is simply someone who helps her “facilitate” her music.

The album is titled 143 and will be released on September 20, 2024.
