At the event, which also featured a fashion show of Oscar de la Renta’s fall 2024 collection, she was honored with the Children’s Champions Colleagues Award for contributions made through her Firework Foundation.
As she arrived on the red carpet, her parents, both Pentecostal pastors, joined her for a sweet photo.
For the special occasion, Perry, who suffered a wardrobe malfunction on American Idol more than a week ago, wore a white sleeveless top and matching midi skirt, both with sexy lace cutouts.

At the spring luncheon, Perry was honored for her efforts through her Fireworks Foundation, which she launched in 2019 along with her sister Angela Lerche.
She is being recognized for the impact she has had on youth from underserved communities.
One of the programs established by the Fireworks Foundation includes a summer camp in which Perry actively participates while supervising composition, music production and choreography workshops.

She received an award from Colleagues, an organization founded in 1950 and comprised of a group of 65 active women and more than 25 caring members who volunteer their time and expertise to support underserved women, children and families in Los Angeles.
