Katie Price has revealed her experience with Russell Brand as the comedian faces a wave of sexual assault allegations.
Over the past two weeks, Brand has faced serious accusations from a series of women. He was accused of rape and sexual assault when four women made allegations to the Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches, then a series of other allegations emerged as the women told their stories to newspapers and the BBC. So far, at least ten have made public statements.
The 48-year-old comedian has vigorously denied any wrongdoing and says he has evidence to refute the allegations. He called the claims a “mainstream media” conspiracy.
Talk to G2 magazine about her own encounter with the star, Price, 45, revealed that she met Brand “a few times” and that her bodyguard later worked for Brand.
Although she thought Brand was “a pretty nice guy, actually, pretty funny,” she recalled one incident of his that she didn’t approve of.

Accusations: Brand has faced serious accusations from a series of women. He was accused of rape and sexual assault, and then many more allegations emerged.
Price revealed that she and the comedian spent time together in the 2000s when she was with Peter Andre and Brand was with a girlfriend.
She recalls: “We were stuck at LAX airport with him once. He had his girlfriend with him and I was with Pete. He was trying to get my stylist when his girlfriend was by his side, so to me that says a lot.
“The truth always comes out eventually.”
Although Price may not have approved of his antics at the time, she did ask Brand for relationship advice when they were reunited on Loose Women in 2017.
Brand was on the daytime show to talk about his own experiences with addiction and his lifestyle before fatherhood, while also plugging his book, Recovery.
Price then asked her for advice on her husband Kieran Hayler’s alleged sex addiction – an issue she had struggled with since marrying him four years previously.
She told the comedian: “I said to Kieran: you have to go away for two months. And he said, “I’m not going, because I’m not leaving you.” What do I say to that?
“He needs to turn himself in and accept help,” advised Brand – who has publicly struggled with his sex addiction as well as his alcohol and drug abuse issues. “You need to tell him that he no longer has the right to control the situation after what he did to you. Tell him “you need to change your life”.
“You have to continually listen to them, because a habit is a trend. If he’s not working on his recovery, he’s working on his addiction.
“He needs to admit that you are the other part and as a society we need to stop supporting them. If it hurts you, let go.
Brand emphasized: “Be clear with him! to which Price replied, “I will.” Watch out for Kieran!’
Although it is unclear whether Price heeded all of Brand’s advice, his relationship with Hayler did not work out and the couple separated the following year.

Speaking out: While Price may not have approved of his antics in a previous meeting, she did ask Brand for relationship advice when they were reunited on Loose Women in 2017.
Price’s comments come as a second police force has begun investigating allegations about Brand.
After Scotland Yard launched a criminal investigation, Thames Valley Police yesterday confirmed they were investigating “information relating to allegations of harassment and stalking” made by a woman.
In the latest allegation, the Mail has seen police reports claiming the woman accused him of being a “sexual predator”.
She lived near Brand and became friends with him in 2015, before they accused each other of harassment.
The police have reportedly already looked into his allegations and rejected them. The police are now re-examining the case.
On Saturday, Thames Valley Police said they were contacted by the woman last week “with new information regarding allegations of harassment and stalking”.
He added: “This information is subject to investigation so it would be inappropriate to comment on an ongoing investigation. »
Thames Valley Police cover Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, where Brand – now a self-styled lifestyle and political guru – lives with his family.
He moved to the area in 2015 and bought The Crown pub in the nearby village of Pishill in 2020.
The pub was “shut down” when the allegations came to light, with locals reporting the venue was enclosed by a fence and there were security guards inside and outside.
Brand was forced to remove the fence when South Oxfordshire District Council declared it “unauthorized” and launched a planning enforcement investigation.
