Katie Price has broken her silence on social media and urged people to “be kind” after a whirlwind 24 hours that saw the former glamour model appear in court.
Just hours after her court appearance, Katie took to her Instagram Stories to repost a message of support that was initially posted by Jedward.
“Please be understanding. She is a person and a mother with a huge heart and deserves respect. I send strength to her children and family.”
A second post that followed continued: ‘A true icon who has been through so much and we all need to support her in this fragile time!
‘No one else could handle the pressure and scrutiny. Let’s surround Katie with love.’
The former glamour model seemed to agree with the kind message and quickly shared it with her 2.7 million followers.
During the hearing, Insolvency and Companies Court Deputy Judge Daniel Schaffer ordered the model to give the court an undertaking to attend another hearing to answer questions about her finances on August 27 at 10:30 a.m.
He said: ‘You have to attend on that date, no ifs, no buts, no trips abroad, no holidays.’
Katie confirmed that she understood she had to attend and then said, “I’ll adjust my schedule to accommodate that.”

Katie’s dramatic arrest came after she skipped a bankruptcy hearing to get a £10,000 facelift in Turkey.
The former glamour model was taken into custody at a west London police station and released on bail a few hours later by an out-of-hours magistrate, ahead of her court appearance on Friday morning.
She appeared on foot through the main entrance wearing a beige suit and a black scarf on her head to hide the wounds caused by the facelift.
Judge Schaffer dismissed the arrest warrant issued against her on July 30 by a different judge after she failed to appear at an earlier hearing.
The order was originally issued by a judge after she failed to attend a hearing relating to her massive £760,000 debt.
Katie previously said she was “not running away from affairs” but was “off working on a documentary about corrective surgeries” during the court hearing.
In a now-deleted statement on Instagram, Katie wrote: ‘I am aware that I am about to be detained at the airport, which is obviously what the courts deem necessary.
“Of course, I hope that for the sake of my son, who is with me, he will be allowed at least some dignity and protection, as this will be extremely upsetting for him. Although I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel that I am being treated like a criminal.”

The mother-of-five, who lives in Sussex, failed to appear before a judge on July 30 as part of her £760,000 bankruptcy proceedings and instead flew to Turkey on holiday for her sixth facelift while staying in a £133-a-night five-star hotel.
Katie knew she would be detained at the airport, but asked police to “allow some dignity and protection” for Harvey, saying it would be “extremely upsetting for him to see.”
In a statement posted on Instagram earlier this week, Katie claimed she had been in Turkey filming a documentary.
Speaking about her son Harvey, the model asked authorities to “allow him some dignity and protection at least for his sake as it will be extremely upsetting for him to see this.”
While acknowledging the “seriousness” of the matter, Katie said she was being treated “like a criminal” and stated that her “unfortunate financial situation” did not make her a “criminal or a bad person.”
