The 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek star smiled and laughed during her phone call.
Katie was dressed casually in a loose-fitting lavender and white striped shirt and wide-leg jeans with a crease down the center of each leg.
Her long brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she was wearing aviator-style sunglasses and white sneakers.
Katie, whose only daughter, Suri Noelle, is in college in Pittsburgh, is currently starring in a revival of Our Town on Broadway.
