The Dawson’s Creek star, 45, who recently received positive reviews for her Broadway play, Our Town, took a casual stroll on her day off while her daughter Suri Cruise, 18, enjoys her first semester of college in Carnegie Mellon University.
Tom Cruise’s ex-wife looked comfortable in a colorful sweater and baggy sweatpants as she chatted on the phone.
She wore her brunette locks in a ponytail and carried a Tribeca Festival tote bag.
Holmes accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and slung a white designer bag over her shoulder.

The Dark Knight actress seemed to be in good spirits as she enjoyed her outing in the Big Apple alone.
It seems the brunette beauty is getting along just fine with an empty nest after dropping her only child, who she shares with the Mission Impossible star, at the University of Pennsylvania in August.
