The Batman Begins veteran wore a pale blue denim shirt that was not tucked into her long green skirt.
The flat black ballet flats looked comfortable as she carried a pale brown leather bag from Khaite on her shoulder as well as a backpack.
With little makeup and large sunglasses covering her face, the star appeared to be going unnoticed as she sipped coffee in midtown Manhattan.
This comes after DailyMail.com reported that her ex-husband Tom Cruise is paying for their daughter Suri Cruise’s college tuition at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania.
In the divorce papers, Cruise agreed to cover the child’s educational costs.

Holmes was seen Sunday at Carnegie Mellon helping Suri move into her dorm room.
The two ladies stood side by side as they walked around campus and then picked up lunch.
Katie has been a single mother since she divorced Cruise in 2012 after six years of marriage.
Katie was granted full custody of their daughter following the split, and the divorce settlement also stated that Tom had to pay $400,000 a year in child support payments, as well as all of Suri’s “medical, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular costs.”
Suri has not been photographed with her Top Gun actor father in 11 years and they are believed to be estranged as he recently dropped his last name and now goes by Suri Noelle, which is Katie’s middle name.
Tom, however, does have contact with the two adopted children he shares with his second ex-wife, Nicole Kidman.
They are Isabella and Connor.

Meanwhile, DailyMail.com has learned that Tom is paying the $65,000-a-year fee for Suri to attend Carnegie Mellon.
Suri is now a first-year college student at Carnegie Mellon University, a private university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The 18-year-old student starts classes on August 26, according to the school website.
“Tom pays Suri’s tuition, he has always paid for her education and he will never stop because he is an honest guy,” a friend of Tom’s told DailyMail.com. Annual tuition at CMU is $65,000.
“He has never hesitated to pay child support and expenses for his daughter. He does not break his word. He is fulfilling his obligation.”
This comes after DailyMail.com reported that her ex-husband Tom Cruise is paying for their daughter Suri Cruise’s college education at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. In the divorce papers, Cruise pledged to cover the child’s educational costs.

But he’ll likely no longer be paying Katie $38,000 a year in child support, since Suri is now 18 and no longer a child.
Earlier this week, DailyMail.com reported that Suri is looking forward to her college experience and is sharing a dorm with another student in an all-female dormitory.
“Suri wants to have the full college experience so she’s trying out the dorms and will have a roommate,” a source told DailyMail.com. “She’s excited to start a new chapter in her life.”
Instead of Homes’s mother’s luxurious three-bedroom apartment in a New York skyscraper, the teenager will be in a sparsely furnished bedroom.
He is believed to be living in Scobell House, which has a maximum of 88 students and all are women.
One of Carnegie Mellon’s highlights? The campus is home to several restaurants serving cappuccinos, croissants, pastries and smoothies. There’s also a state-of-the-art wellness center.

The rooms can be for one, two or three people, depending on need and price.
One of the rooms has two bunk beds, meaning that up to four students can be accommodated in that space.
Most shared rooms offer furniture: there is a single bed with storage space underneath, a five-tier dresser, a desk with three drawers, and a chair.
The complex features numerous amenities such as a TV room, a study room, a recreational area, laundry facilities and a kitchen.
Scobell is located in the WHeSco community, which includes Henderson and Welch houses. ‘WHeSco is close to many academic buildings and dining options in Resnik. Each building has a central area on the ground floor where students have access to lounges, laundry and kitchen,’ the website shared.
There is plenty of food to buy on campus, so Suri won’t go hungry while studying for final exams.
There are restaurants like Au Bon Pain bakery and cafe at Cohon Center, where Cruise can purchase chocolate croissants and soft drinks.
There is also a Ciao Bella restaurant for tasty pasta dishes like Fettucine Alfredo, also located in Cohon Center.
The Edge Café and Market at Resnik House is where Suri can get bagels and cream cheese, as well as pizza.
Carnegie Mellon also has Faculty of Fine Arts department from which Holly Hunter and Ted Danson graduated.

Suri will have a break soon: Labor Day falls on September 2 and she will have that day off.
September 27th and 28th is Family Weekend and Katie is welcome to visit us during that time.
Tom won’t be there.
Katie has hinted that Suri might be studying acting and dance at Carnegie Mellon. Holmes told Town & Country magazine that after college, her daughter wants to go into show business.
Both Katie and Suri’s father, Tom, have been in the industry since they were in their early 20s.
The magazine claimed that Suri “is interested in pursuing a career in fashion or acting.” That doesn’t sound out of place. Suri starred in a high school production of The Addams Family.
And Katie has already put Suri to work on two of her films.
Suri contributed vocals to songs in two of Holmes’ films: the 2023 drama Rare Objects and the 2022 romantic drama Alone Together.
“I’m proud of my daughter,” Holmes told Town & Country of his daughter.
“Of course, I will miss her proximity, but I am very proud of her and I am happy.”
Holmes, speaking with Glamor In April 2023, he said that he has sought to encourage Suri’s performance in his projects.
“I expect him to always do something in my movies,” Holmes said. “I always ask him to do it.”
Holmes said “both experiences came from the same feeling of what I love about our industry, which is that you have these projects and you become a family with people.”
Holmes said she worked hard to create a “safe, beautiful and creative space” for Suri to hone her craft as an artist.
“For me, it’s a sign of love to include someone I love deeply,” Holmes said.
“It was very meaningful for me to have her there, because she is my heart.”
