Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur celebrated their fourth anniversary by posting a photo of them together on Instagram.

The pair are currently competing at the Miami Open, with the British No.1 booking her place in the third round of the tournament after her 16-year-old opponent, Brenda Fruhvirtova, was forced to withdraw from their match on Thursday.

The couple, who have been called “tennis’ new power couple”, initially got together in 2020 and rose through the ranks to become two of the sport’s hottest stars.

On Thursday, Boulter, 27, posted a photo of herself and De Minaur on Instagram showing Boulter smiling at her boyfriend as they looked into each other’s eyes.

She appeared to be wearing a ring on her wedding finger, but the Brit shut down any talk that the pair had gotten engaged.

Their blossoming romance amid the fierce competition both players face on the WTA and ATP tours has been the talk of the town for some time, with both having risen to fame thanks to their on-court exploits.

Over the years, the two have shared numerous snaps showing their lives away from the tennis court. One of the first came in 2021, when Boulter posted a photo of the couple celebrating their first anniversary. The photo showed them standing on a beach, with the Brit writing: “I don’t know how you put up with me for this long.” Happy New Year @alexdeminaur’

De Minaur also picked up silverware in 2024, beating Casper Ruud to win the ATP500 in Acapulco, after being beaten in the final of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam by Jannik Sinner.

The pair are regularly seen staring at each other from the stands at their events and although they have been thrust into the spotlight, Boulter said they are solely focused on playing tennis and staying feet on the ground.

“I haven’t seen any newspapers,” she laughed when asked if she was now in the public eye and not just tennis fans.

“But I feel very privileged here. I have to do a job and keep my feet on the ground. I have to work as much as possible to stay as ready as ever.

“I wouldn’t say anything has changed (since I was number 1). I love feeling that feeling when the crowd roars and I enjoy it more than anything else on this planet, I hope I can use it .
