Kathy Hilton appeared to have a situational awareness deficit when she found herself in the path of a model on the runway at a fashion show Monday night.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star, 65, was supporting her co-star Sutton Stracke at her show in Los Angeles, but appeared to break off the catwalk to chat to Erika Jayne’s mother Renee Chahoy.
The video originally posted to Instagram by Jadon Medina showed Kathy, who recently lent support to her sister Kyle Richards, standing and hunched forward as she spoke to Chahoy, who was situated at the other end of the front row.
Erika’s mother reached out to grab Kathy’s hand, as if to pull her away from the center of the runway, where she seemed to be heading, as the towering model Whizdom Williams rounded the corner and headed straight for her.
Whizdom moved slightly to the side to avoid knocking Kathy over, but tapped her shoulder causing the seemingly oblivious reality to turn its head, revealing a surprised expression on its face.

Kyle looked surprised, then embarrassed, as the model tapped him on the shoulder and strutted past her, and other people in the audience could be heard wondering aloud what she was doing on that path.
The model smiled from ear to ear after the incident, while Kathy looked around shyly.
Co-star Kyle Richards’ half-sister then appeared to follow Whizdom down the runway to avoid other models passing by, though she made sure to stay as close to the edge of the path as possible.
It was unclear how long Kathy had been inching toward the run, but a woman could be heard yelling “What just happened?!” at the start of the video.
On social media, RHOBH and Kathy fans alternated between laughing at her confusion and slamming her for being “rude” and stealing the show at co-star Sutton’s event.
“Kathy Hilton is always rude and nasty… She thinks she’s someone with the last name Hilton…” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“That’s so rude and not funny,” another person agreed.
Another person was shocked that she could act with so little ‘decorum’ after having been ‘invited and involved in many functions, fashion shows, charity parties, etc.’
Others praised the model for handling the situation with elegance.

She wore a long, semi-transparent skirt and wore a huge gold clover-shaped necklace suspended from thick chains.
It was a major event for housewives, and she was joined at the show by her sister Kyle Richards, who contrasted her in a low-cut white gown, along with Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne and Garcel Beauvais, whose 16-year-old son Jaid made his runway debut at the fashion show.
She also had the chance to meet up with new housewives Bozoma Saint John and Jennifer Tilly, who stunned in a busty striped cardigan as she posed with Kathy on the red carpet.
