Katharine McPhee removes her makeup in green cargo pants and a black top to run a solo errand in Los Angeles

Katharine McPhee was spotted running errands alone in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon.

The 39-year-old singer cut a casual figure for the day as she rocked a black long-sleeved top and green cargo pants.

He walked across a parking lot in black lace-up combat boots.

McPhee, who is married to legendary songwriter David Foster, 74, carried a stylish bag under her arm and sunglasses on her head.

The artist’s departure comes amid the ongoing concert tour she and her husband are on, titled An Intimate Evening with Katharine McPhee and David Foster.

The former American Idol finalist co-headlines her series of shows with her husband of several years.

The couple initially met in 2006, although they did not begin their relationship until 2017, when they first connected romantically.

The happy couple got engaged in 2018 and tied the knot during a wedding ceremony in London the following year.

McPhee and Foster, 74, started a family with the birth of their three-year-old son Rennie in February 2021.

The pair have collaborated on numerous occasions and released a collaborative album, titled Christmas Songs, last year.

The couple’s son also joined his parents on stage to play drums during their performance in Washington, D.C. on Sunday night.

McPhee and Foster talked about touring during a sit-down with Entertainment tonightand the latter described life on the road as “a bit silly”.

However, the music industry figure also expressed that being able to spend time with his wife and collaborator was ‘great’.

The Over It singer continued to talk about the parts of the tour she found particularly difficult.

‘You wake up in a new city every day and it’s just routine. That’s the only part that wears you down sometimes. And all you want is to be in your own bed,” she stated.

McPhee commented, however, that he still considered performing for his fans to be an entirely worthwhile endeavor.

“When we’re on stage for those two hours it’s the best part of everything,” he said.
