Kate Winslet, 48, revealed Monday her extreme, but “amazing,” birthday plans to celebrate turning 50 next year.
The actress has a few ideas up her sleeve to commemorate the milestone, but has insisted she doesn’t want any gifts.
‘I want to talk about birthday plans because I’ve actually been thinking about some and we need to compare.
‘I don’t want any gifts. Here’s mine. I want to do 50 amazing things for 50 but they have to be made up of acts of kindness, physical feats and probably something like trying foods I’ve never tried before.
‘I would like something like that. We don’t need to keep giving us gifts, right? We can just do things, put nice things into the world, that’s better.’
She also opened up about her forgotten real-life romance with Scoop star Rufus Sewell.
The actors starred together in The Holiday, where Rufus’ character, Jasper, left Kate’s character, Iris, who was in love with him, heartbroken to announce his engagement to another woman at Christmas.
However, years before filming the Christmas classic, the pair enjoyed a brief romance after meeting while working together at the Royal Shakespeare Company in the early 1990s.
Kate brought up their past romance when Chris asked if the 48-year-old had yet had a chance to watch Netflix’s Scoop, in which Rufus plays Prince Andrew.
Kate replied: ‘No. But I ran into Gillian Anderson at an event not long ago and was asking her about it.

And Rufus Sewell is fantastic. You know, she used to date Rufus Sewell years ago. Back then, a long time ago, I think he must have been 21 or something.
Thrilled by her former love, she continued: “He’s so fantastic and to see him front and center in a way that I don’t think we’ve seen on British TV for a long, long, long time, I really am.” Really excited to see what he does.”
Kate and Rufus, 57, dated for three months after she split from her first love Stephen Tredre in 1995, who later died of bone cancer in 1997.
He later said: “We are very good friends, but it was never a serious relationship.”
The pair have remained friends since then and filmed The Holiday together in 2006.
