Kate Ritchie was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The Nova 96.9 radio presenter was reportedly behind the wheel of her black 2023 BMW X5 xDrive40i when the incident unfolded in Dudley Street, Randwick.
According to eyewitness accounts, Ritchie’s BMW collided with a parked Mitsubishi Pajero, pushing it hard off the road and into a parked Kia.
The owner of the Kia, who wished to remain anonymous, identified the Home and Away actress as the driver of the BMW and confirmed that Ritchie shared her details with him after the collision.
After the exchange, Kate expressed her need to leave as soon as possible to pick up her daughter, Mae, whom she shares with ex-husband Stuart Webb.
He added that Kate said her personal assistant would follow up on the matter and that Ritchie did not appear under the influence of alcohol.
However, no roadside sobriety test was carried out as NSW Police did not attend the scene.
The three vehicles involved sustained significant damage and were subsequently towed off the suburban street.

Ritchie’s luxury BMW sustained significant damage to the driver’s side. The bonnet was visibly warped following the accident, and damage was also caused to the wheels, bumper and radiator grille. The car’s engine also appeared visible as it was being towed for repair.
No roadside sobriety test was carried out because New South Wales Police did not attend the scene.
