The British model, 48, who has dated the actor since 1994, will reportedly take the stand on Wednesday after the actress previously mentioned her in the case.
Heard mentioned the supermodel in her testimony Thursday, saying she felt connected to Moss because of a long-running rumor that Depp pushed her down the stairs when they were dating in the 1990s.
But by bringing up the alleged misconduct, Heard inadvertently allowed Depp’s lawyers to call her as a witness to discuss the rumour, which sources say is untrue.

‘That’s a mistake [Heard] fact, he was raising Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to [Depp’s team] bringing [Moss] as an impeachment witness” and “say ‘This never happened,'” California entertainment attorney Mitra Ahouraian told the New York Post after Heard first made the accusations earlier this month.
