It comes after Kate reflected on lengthy ‘intimidating’ photo shoots in her early modeling career and revealed that teen models are often pressured to pose nude in a new interview.
The supermodel, who was first scouted as a model in 1988 at the age of 14, admitted that she felt “ terribly uncomfortable ” during many photo shoots in her youth, explaining that some photographers will only work with models who agree with ‘a nude element’.
Kate told Reader’s Digest: ‘In the early days there were a lot of shoots where I felt terribly uncomfortable.’
She explained how it is typical for a model to start their career at a young age, saying, ‘That was the case with me, but still there were some photographers who disagreed to shoot you unless there was a nude element used to be.
‘That was very common then and it still is today. For a very young woman, that can be incredibly intimidating. ‘

Kate also said her body had changed after welcoming her daughter Lila Grace in 2002.
