The Princess of Wales’ mother and father, Carole and Michael Middleton, have attended the fourth day of Wimbledon, in their second public appearance since their daughter’s cancer diagnosis.

Dressed in their finest, the radiant couple looked in good spirits as they arrived together at the prestigious event in London.

This follows their joyous appearance at Royal Ascot last month, when they joined members of the Royal Family, including their son-in-law Prince William, at the lavish occasion.

The Middletons’ outings come after their daughter Kate, 42, who has been receiving chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer since February, made a spectacular return to public life during the Trooping the Colour parade last month.

Carole, 69, has reportedly been supporting her daughter during her cancer treatment at their home in Windsor.

Michael and Carole’s last public appearance before Royal Ascot was in December, during Kate’s annual Royal Carols: Together at Christmas celebration at Westminster Abbey in London. Three months later, Kate announced her cancer diagnosis to the world.

But the royal parents have recently returned to the spotlight on the summer social scene after spending months at their daughter’s side.

Last month they made a glamorous and cheerful appearance at Royal Ascot, joining members of the Royal Family at the famous racing event.

For today’s outing, mother-of-three Carole was the picture of elegance in a white, green and pink floral dress.

Ready for the cooler British weather, she paired the stunning dress with a white blazer, featuring structured shoulders.

Looking effortlessly chic, the Princess of Wales’s mother accessorized her look with a pair of tan sunglasses and heels.

Her husband looked equally sophisticated in a smart navy suit, paired with a blue shirt and yellow tie.

It is not known whether the Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, will attend this year’s tournament.

However, other recognisable faces have appeared in the Royal Box during this year’s two-week event, including the Duchess of Gloucester, former Prime Minister Theresa May and star athlete Maria Sharapova.

CEOs and businessmen, meanwhile, enjoyed the sport from coveted seats yesterday.

Wimbledon will witness the Battle of the Brits when Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart take on each other this afternoon.

The two British stars will test each other on Court One in front of a packed crowd at the women’s tournament.

In the men’s competition, Jack Draper and Cameron Norrie will battle it out for a spot in the third round.

And in what will be an emotional match for Andy Murray, he and his brother Jamie will head to Centre Court for a doubles match, in what the veteran says will be his last Wimbledon.

It will be the first time that the two brothers will face each other in a Grand Slam, while young Jacob Fearnley will face Serbian Novak Djokovic.
