Prince William, who is looking forward to a major milestone with his upcoming trip to South Africa with the Earthshot Prize, could face the trip without his beloved wife, Kate Middleton, due to his persistent health condition, which will bring him to tears.

The Princess of Wales, who is undergoing chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis, could miss her first trip abroad with William since his illness.

Prince William, who founded The Earthshot Prize In 2020, to find solutions to combat climate change, she is planning to travel to South Africa this year. However, concerns about Kate’s health have put her attendance in doubt.

Royal commentators Cameron Walker and Svar discussed the event on GB News. Svar mentioned“There was some uncertainty about whether he would go due to Catherine’s health, but we have seen him make a few trips abroad so far, three to see England during Euro 2024. With Kate making a couple of public appearances, it seems safer to say that William will be there.”

However, the commentator added: “As for the Princess of Wales, there is no confirmation.” Cameron Walker shared his thoughts, saying: “Yes, Kensington Palace hasn’t even confirmed yet that Prince William will be going, but I would be very surprised if he doesn’t go to Cape Town because it’s his prize and he’s been to every single place so far.”

Walker continued: “The Princess of Wales, even before her abdominal surgery and cancer diagnosis, I would say is an unknown because last year she did not go to Singapore with Prince William, who was last year’s prizewinner. The reason I was given was because she was helping Prince George with his entrance exams for Eton and other universities.”

He added: “So it’s still an open question whether she will go. I think it’s more likely that William will go, whether the Princess of Wales will also go, we’ll have to wait and see. But of course Cape Town is in South Africa, and the last senior royals to visit South Africa were Harry and Meghan in 2019. So will there be some sort of comparison as well between those two feuding royal couples?”

Kate Middleton was last seen attending WimbledonHer first official public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer was at the King’s Birthday parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, in June.

The royal couple’s future plans remain uncertain as they deal with Kate’s health issues. Fans and commentators alike are waiting to see how the situation develops and whether the Princess of Wales will accompany Prince William to this important event in South Africa.
