Kate Middleton was praised for her “non-victimizing” approach during a recent visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she received cancer treatment last year. Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths highlighted the Princess of Wales’s admirable focus on supporting cancer patients, rather than seeking sympathy for her own experiences.

talking to GB News, Griffiths explained, “Every time someone said, ‘Oh, you did a really good job taking care of your kids,’ she would accept the compliment and then say it again to the cancer patient.”

He emphasized that despite the struggles Kate has faced, she is not looking for sympathy, adding: “She’s been through hell and back, but she doesn’t want sympathy. “She just wants to support these people.” Ingrid Seward, another royal expert, also praised Kate for her handling of the situation during the hospital visit.

talking to the sun, Seward said: “When Kate met the staff and patients, you felt that the embrace and comfort she gave them was incredibly genuine.” Seward further explained that Kate has “handled this so brilliantly” and has earned a “saint position” in the eyes of many.

“When someone has been through something as dangerous as Kate, there is an enormous amount of gratitude and love,” Seward added, acknowledging the emotional impact Kate’s visit had on both hospital staff and patients.

Kate’s ability to divert attention from herself to the needs of others during such a difficult time has earned her widespread admiration, reinforcing her reputation as a compassionate and empathetic figure. Despite her own health issues, she remains dedicated to using her platform to support those fighting cancer, further cementing her role as a loved and respected member of the royal family.
