Kate Middleton reveals Prince Louis’ request to play in the garden every day after school

Kate Middleton has revealed the funny request Prince Louis makes every day after he finishes school.

All three children of the Princess, 41, and the Prince, 40, of Wales attend the £50,000-a-year Lambrook School in Windsor.

The youngest, Louis, four, joined his older siblings, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, at school last September as they all started the new school year together.

And after a long day spent in the books, it looks like Louis needs to blow off some steam.

Speaking last week while visiting a therapy garden at a rehabilitation center in Wales, Kate revealed that Louis enjoys spending time away from home. She said, “Louis comes home and says, ‘I need to get my energy out.'”

As well as enjoying time in the garden at home, the children of Wales also reportedly enjoy quality time outside during the school day.

Speaking about their school on the Lorraine show last September as the children started the academic year, Roya Nikkhah, editor of the Sunday Times Royal, said the school in Windsor offered a different educational experience compared to schools in London.

She said: ‘The Cambridges want their children to have a different kind of education.

“It was a nice first day of school for them… it’s the first time all three of them are at school together.

“This is very different, it’s all part of the big move to Windsor. It’s a great school.’

Describing the school herself, Roya said: ‘It’s a very different setup. There is a lot of emphasis on the outdoors, there are animals there, a miniature golf course, peacocks roaming free in this school.

‘It is a very special, nice school where children are encouraged to go outside.

“It’s part of William and Kate’s plan to get their kids out and live more normal lives.”

The says the school’s website: ‘Every Monday, all our students in the Prep School have a special ‘Enrichment Afternoon’ with opportunities for our students to further complement their academic studies.

‘They can choose from farming, beekeeping, chess, mountain biking, fencing, judo, film making, diving, squash, song writing, mini master chef, ballet, tapping, jazz, golf (on our 9-hole course), polo, Podcasts making, sewing, skiing, swimming, tennis, saving lives, surviving, debating and public speaking. ‘

During their conversation, Roya and Lorraine also commented on Prince Louis’s “feisty” attitude.

Roya said, “As we’ve seen from the Jubilee, Louis is a very lively little boy.”

Lorraine agreed, saying, “Yeah, and I think this is something a lot of parents can relate to.”
